Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Pennasville is a family-friendly holiday site. To maintain this environment, we only accept bookings from families and couples. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate bookings from young male, female, or mixed groups.

2. Deposit and Payments

A non-refundable deposit of one-third of the total cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 8 weeks before your arrival. Failure to pay the balance by this date will result in the cancellation of your booking.

Bookings made through our online booking system, (powered by Supercontrol) are provisional until confirmed by us.

3. Booking Period

Bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. Check-in is from 4 pm, and check-out is by 10 am.

4. Responsibility for the Booking

The individual responsible for the booking must be over 21 years of age and a member of the party for the entire duration of the stay.

5. Occupancy

The number of occupants, including infants and toddlers, must not exceed the stated capacity of the property.

6. Large Groups

For group bookings, we kindly ask that you ensure all inventories (e.g. cutlery and crockery) are returned to their respective properties before departure. Additionally, please be mindful of others when socialising and keep noise to a minimum to maintain a pleasant environment for all guests.

7. Booking Amendments

Any changes or additions to your booking (e.g. adding a dog, extra towels, or additional guests) must be requested in writing or through the “Manage My Booking” system. Written confirmation is required before arrival.

8. Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted in writing or from the email address used to make the booking. Your deposit is non-refundable. Guests are legally responsible for the full booking amount if the accommodation cannot be re-let. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover this liability. If your property is re-let without loss, a £50 per week administration fee will be deducted from any refund. Credit card refunds will only be processed back to the original payment card.

9. Subletting

Subletting is not permitted. Occupants must remain the same throughout the entire stay. If additional guests arrive or leave during the week, this must be noted on the booking form. All occupants and vehicles must also be listed on the form.

10. VAT

VAT is included at the current rate. Please note, Beach Retreat is owned by Nantewynn Holidays Ltd, and Sea Shore is owned by Penna Holdings Ltd; therefore, these properties are not subject to VAT.

11. Pets

Dogs are not permitted in properties during a designated period in the summer. These dates vary each year, so please check with us directly or refer to your booking confirmation for the exact dates. During other times, dogs are welcome at a charge of £35 per dog per week (maximum of two dogs per property). Unfortunately, no other pets, including cats, are allowed on-site.

We kindly ask that dogs are not left unattended in properties, even if crated, and that they remain on a lead at all times while on-site. Dog-friendly properties feature fully enclosed gardens, but it is the owner’s responsibility to clean up after their pets and ensure they do not cause a nuisance to others.

All dogs must be fully up to date with vaccinations, flea treatments, and worming prior to arrival. We cannot accept dogs listed on the UK’s banned breeds list. For more information, visit the UK banned dogs list.

To maintain property cleanliness, please do not allow dogs on sofas or upstairs (safety gates are provided). Any damage caused by your pet must be paid for in full.

IMPORTANT: If you arrive with a dog and have booked a pet-free property, failed to add your dog to the booking form, or it falls within the restricted period, unfortunately, your pet will not be permitted on-site.

12. Parking

Parking at Pennasville is exclusively for residents. Each property is allocated parking as follows:

  • 2/3-bedroom properties: Maximum of 2 cars
  • 4-bedroom properties: Maximum of 3 cars

All cars must display a parking permit at all times. Additional cars can be accommodated at a charge of £35 per week, which will be added to your balance. Please note we are unable to offer visitor parking. Visitors are kindly requested to use nearby National Trust car parks. No visitors are permitted on-site after 10 pm unless prior arrangements have been made.

13. General Site Rules

To maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests, ball games are only permitted in designated areas. Skateboards, scooters, and bicycles are not allowed within the holiday park grounds.

14. Cleaning

A £50 cleaning charge will be added to your bill if your property is left in an unacceptable condition. Please remember that Pennasville Holildays provides self-catering accommodation. A vacuum cleaner and dishwasher are available in each property, and we kindly ask that you leave your property as you found it.

15. Lost Keys

If you lose your keys, there will be a £50 replacement fee. If the locks need to be changed, an additional fee of £100 will apply.

16. Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 for 2/3-bedroom properties and £300 for 4-bedroom properties will be held on your credit card from the Monday before your arrival until the Monday after your departure.

17. Liability

Pennasville Holildays is not liable for the unavailability of specific accommodation, facilities, or amenities due to circumstances beyond our control.

18. Final Notes

If any of the above conditions are not followed, entry may be refused, or you may be asked to leave without a refund.

These conditions are in place to ensure the smooth running of the site and to maintain high standards for all guests.
