General Information
Arrivals and departures
We can’t wait to welcome you! Your accommodation will be ready for you from 4pm on your arrival day. Arrivals and departures are on Saturdays, and we kindly ask that you check out by 10am on your departure day.
Bed linen
Bed linen is included in the rental price. Each bed in the property is provided with a duvet, a blanket, and two pillows.
Deliveries
We only accept grocery deliveries at Pennasville, and kindly ask that Amazon and other personal deliveries are not sent. If necessary, there are collection points in Newquay, but why not try to source it locally? We’d be happy to recommend some great places to visit.
For grocery deliveries, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Tesco, Morrisons, and Ocado all deliver to our location. If you’re ordering groceries, please use the following address:

Be sure to include your property number in the delivery address and ensure that the name on the order matches the name on your booking.
Please arrange for food deliveries to arrive after you’ve checked in. Check-in is from 4 pm to 9 pm, and we kindly ask that no deliveries are made after 9 pm to avoid disturbing other guests. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept grocery deliveries on your behalf.
Electricity
Electricity and heating are fully included in all our properties. However, at this time, we do not offer charging facilities for electric or hybrid cars.
For safety reasons, we kindly ask that you do not charge your vehicle from your accommodation under any circumstances.
Internet access
There is limited Wi-Fi available in the properties. There is faster free Wi-Fi access in the games room for watching movies or downloading large files, et cetera.
Sea Shore & Beach Retreat have their own separate WiFi.
Laundry
The laundry room is located on-site and is open from 9 am to 9 pm. It has two washers and three dryers, all coin-operated. You’ll need £1 coins, with each wash costing from £3.40 per load (depending on setting used) and the dryers costing £1 per load.
Reception
Our reception is open from 9:00 to 10:30 am, Sunday to Friday, and approximately 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturdays.
Towels
White towels are provided for all guests listed on the booking form. Beach towels can be hired for £2.50 each and should be requested up to 8 days before your arrival, as they are ordered in advance from our linen service.
Unless requested, we do not offer a change of bedding or towels for bookings of up to 2 weeks, and please note that an additional charge may apply if a change is required.
Visitors
No visitors after 10.00pm unless arranged prior to arrival.
IMPORTANT
We are a family orientated site and do not accept bookings from mixed groups or large groups of young males or females. All properties and enclosed spaces are strictly non-smoking.

Children
If you fancy a break from the beach, there’s plenty at Pennasville to keep the kids entertained.
We are a self-contained site that’s safe and secure. The main entrance has electric gates, operated by a security card that will be provided to you upon arrival.
For guests with very young children, we provide cots and highchairs free of charge. Each cottage is also equipped with a safety gate.
There’s a fully enclosed play area, perfect for children up to 12 years old.
We also have a wooden boat surrounded by a sandpit – ideal for pirate adventures!
For older children, there’s an assault course, as well as a grassy area with a football goal at one end.
Our games room features a pool table and a table tennis table. Please note that children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult when using the games room. Free Wi-Fi is also available in the games room.
To help keep our games room equipment in good condition for everyone to enjoy, we kindly ask that pool cues and table tennis bats are treated with care and returned in good condition after use. Thank you for helping us maintain a great experience for all our guests.
Dogs
Holywell Bay is a fantastic dog-friendly beach, welcoming dogs all year round!
At Pennasville, we’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs in many of our properties for 48 weeks of the year. However, as a family-focused site, we don’t allow dogs on-site during 4 weeks of the summer holidays. These dates vary, so please check with us for the specific weeks.
We charge £35 per dog, per week, with a maximum of two dogs per property. All of our dog-friendly properties have enclosed gardens, but we do ask that you keep an eye on your dog at all times. Please don’t leave your dog unattended in the property, even if they’re in a crate.
For everyone’s comfort, dogs must be kept on a lead while on-site, and we kindly ask that you clean up after your pet—there’s a convenient doggy bin near the beach entrance.
To make your dog’s stay as comfortable as possible, please bring along their own towels, blankets, or bed. We do ask that dogs stay off the sofas and beds and use their own things. Safety gates are provided to help keep them downstairs.
Lastly, any damage caused by your pet during your stay will need to be covered.
Please note: We also have properties that don’t accept dogs at any time during the year, so make sure to select a dog-friendly property when booking.
Parking
Parking at Pennasville is reserved for residents only. Most two and three-bedroom properties come with parking for one car, while four-bedroom properties have space for two cars. Please ensure that all vehicles display a parking permit at all times.
Due to an increase in the number of cars and our limited parking availability, we’ve had to limit the amount of free parking per property. If you need to bring an additional car, there is a charge of £35 per week, which will be added to your balance.
For two and three-bedroom properties, there’s a maximum of two cars allowed, and for four-bedroom properties, the limit is three cars. Please note, we are no longer able to offer visitor parking, but there is a National Trust car park conveniently located nearby.
