Food & Drink

Cornwall is home to some fantastic cafés and restaurants and great local food producers. Indulge your tastebuds!

Cornwall has long been famous for clotted cream teas and pasties, but the county today is equally well-known for the great restaurants and distinctive local produce on offer.

Padstow is where it all began, with the beautiful harbour town home to the restaurants of Rick Stein. If you fancy a seat at one of the many Rick Stein restaurants then booking in advance is highly recommended. The Stein effect has spawned a host of great restaurants, with Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 also offering fantastic modern Cornish cuisine.

There are also several pick your own fruit farms nearby, with Mitchell Fruit Farm offering a wide range of seasonal soft fruits including strawberries, raspberries, rhubarb and gooseberries.
