Answers to the most common questions asked.

Is there an Iron in my cottage?
YES THERE IS AN IRON AND AN IRONGING BOARD

Are towels included?
TOWELS ARE NOT INCLUDED UNLESS YOU BOOKED THEM AT THE TIME OF BOOKING.  CHECK YOUR CONFIRMATION LETTER.  TOWELS FOR OVERSEAS GUESTS ARE INCLUDED.

Is bedding for the cot inluded?
NO, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS AND BLANKETS FOR YOUR COT

If I cancel will I get a refund?
Cancellations must be notified in writing or from the email address which you made the booking and will result in the loss of your deposit.
Customers are reminded that they are legally responsible for the full amount in case the accommodation cannot be re-let.
You are therefore strongly advised to take out a cancellation scheme to cover the liability.
Deposits are only refunded if we are able to re-let without loss in which case £30 per week is deducted to
cover expenses.
No refunds are given for early departures.
We will make ever attempt  to re-let your property but if we still have vacancies for the cancelled week a refund is highly unlikely. 
Refund cheques are made payable to the booking holder.  Credit card refunds will be refunded to the card which the payments were made.  No refunds made until after November 1st. 

How many cars are we allowed to bring?
Parking at Pennasville is for residents only. 
All cars must display a parking permit at all times.
Due to an increasing number of cars using our parking facilities and a limited amount of parking we have had to limit the amount of free parking we can offer per cottage for 2020.
From April 2020 there will be a charge of £30 per week for any additional cars.
This charge will be added to your balance.  Please note this is residential parking only. 
2/3 bedroom cottages - 2 car maximum
4 bedroom cottages - 3 cars maximum

Are we allowed to have visitors to our cottage?
We are very sorry but we can no longer offer visitor parking. 
There is a national trust car park nearby. 
No visitors after 10pm unless arranged prior to arrival.

Is there Wifi?
There is Free superfast WiFi access in the games room.

Are they any cottages with walkin showers?
Yes, The Villa Francia and cottages numbers 3, 9, 17, 18, 22, 25, 26 & 27 all have walkin showers.  Nunbers 26 & 27 also have a bathroom with a bath and a shower over the bath.  All other cottages have baths with a shower in them.

CHANGES DUE TO COVID-19

The updated Government Guidelines state that only 6 persons can holiday together.  the only exceptions to this is if you are more than 6 and in one household.

Please be aware of this if you are holidaying with us in a large group as you can only socialise inside or outside in a group of 6 maximum.


Can we also please ask that you stay in your own cottage only and do not enter cottages of friends or family.  This is to minimise the risk and need to quarantine if we happen to get a case of Covid-19. 
No visitors to Pennasville allowed for 2020.


In order to keep you and us safe and healthy we have had to introduce a few changes to your holiday. 
We are sorry we have had to list so many changes but the most important thing is your safety.
We ask that you read carefully through the implemented changes as advised by the government and our health and safety officer.  

Due to the extra changeover measures that have been put into place we are sorry but we have had to make some changes to your check in and check out times.
  • New Check in time - 5pm
  • New Check out time -  9am

There will be STRICTLY NO ENTRY TO THE PARK/CAR PARK/YOUR COTTAGE until 5pm, OUR GATES WILL REMAIN CLOSED. We also ask that you vacate your cottage and the Park/Car Park by 9am on the day of your departure.‚Äč.

ONE CAR MAXIMUM OUTSIDE EACH 2/3 BEDROOM  HOUSES, TWO CARS MAXIMUM OUTSIDE 4 BEDROOM HOUSES, ALL OTHER CARS TO BE PARKED IN THE OVERFLOW CAR PARK OR ALONG THE GRASS BY THE BLUE FENCE.

Communal Areas

  • The Games Room will remain closed, however you can access the WIFI around the area of the games room 24/7.  Social distancing applies.  (Please do not move any seating as this has been placed 2m apart)
  • The Children's Play area is also closed.
  • The Laundry room will be available for emergencies only.


Additional Items to bring

  • Please bring additional medication and all your doctors information as you will be asked to contact your own doctor if you become unwell while stay with us.
  • Additonal clothing as Laundry room will be limited to emergency use only
  • DVD'd Books and games as our Games Room will be closed.
  • Hand Sanitizer and hand wash,  Antibacterial Sprays and Food/Drink as supermarkets are going to be very busy due to the social distancing rules.
  • Towels if you haven't booked and paid for them as we wont be able to keep any spares this year.Cot Bedding as this isn't provided.
COVID-19
  • If you feel unwell before departure we ask that you stay at home and do not travel to your holiday cottage.
  • If you become unwell whilst staying at Pennasville you are required to go for a COVID-19 test.  These results must be shared with us.  If you test positive then you must immediately return home to your primary residence.  (You will be reasonsable for any additional costs incurred by us)
  • Please be aware if a previous guests tests positive for Covid-19 this could effect your arrival date.

On Departure:

  • Please leave your cottage clean and tidy as you found it.
  • Leave all windows open if its not raining heavily.
  • Strip all beds and place bedding and towels in bags provided at the bottom of the stairs.
  • Place rubbish and recycling in the correct bins.
  • Take all food items and personal items with you.
As this is a quick changing situation, these changes are subject to change along with government guidleines.  We will update you as and when we get further updates.
